Run |

This annual event
takes place on Sunday 7 June, in aid of the Norwood
Trust. It is a 90 mile scenic drive around the Derbyshire
peaks and dales with a reduced mileage for older
vehicles. It will leave the Memorial Park in Marple
at 09.00 and will finish at the Pavilion gardens
in Buxton. The run is open to both classic and vintage
vehicles and will cost £15 for the run.
Visitors are welcome
to view all the vehicles in Marple or Buxton, at
no charge. Tea, coffee and bacon and sausage muffins
can be purchased at the Scout hut at the start.

of Simon Hartland of the National Motorcycle Museum
will help provide more unique machines and star riders
than any other historic two wheeled event held in
Europe.

be exhibiting at the Royal Welsh Show at Builth
Wells. Glamorgan is the host county for the show
this year, the opportunity for vintage clubs in
the area to exhibit, occurs approximately once every
10 years and it is considered an honour to be invited
in to show off and promote vintage agricultural
machinery and artefacts. Glamorgan Iron Horse Vintage
Society are joining forces with a vintage tractor
club from Neath, South Wales. There will be in excess
of 35 exhibitors showing 50-plus exhibits to include
tractors, stationary engines and farm machinery
and bygones.
