Federation Internationale
des Vehicules Anciens (FIVA) has published a guide for users
of historic vehicles to encourage drivers to maintain the current
low level of serious accidents involving older vehicles.
An
A4 version of the guide can be seen by clicking HERE
(please be patient - it takes a moment or two to load).
Higher
resolution A4 and A5 PDFs are available to clubs to enable them
to print their own copies - please contact the SECRETARY.
(Please note these files are around 5MB so will take an age
to download if you do not have Broadband).
FBHVC is the UK authority for the issue of FIVA Identity Cards.
The cards provide a simple guide to a vehicle's history, authenticity
and specification and are required for events run under FIVA
rules.
The application form with a sheet of instructions may be opened
in pdf format by clicking HERE.
Alternatively, if you wish to receive a form through the post,
please contact the Secretary
FBHVC can only issue I D cards
for vehicles that are registered in UK. Cards are valid for
ten years, but are non-transferable so expire on change of owner
if that is earlier.
