British Motor Museum - Summer Family Visits

Published: 17/08/2020

This August at the British Motor Museum it’s all about 'Colour in our Collection'! Whilst we can't offer our normal range of activities right now (because of COVID-19), we've come up with some interactive fun for you to enjoy via your mobile device whilst you explore the Museum, and an activity bag to take home!

Science Shows
Pickle and Pumpkin are back, this time with 30 minute outdoor science shows this August! Come down to the Museum Monday - Fridays to help the mad scientists develop their horseless carriage (sorry, car) - weather permitting.

Eye-Spy Family Trail
Try our 'Colour in our Collection' Eye-Spy Trail. We have one for under 5's and one for over 5's to keep everyone entertained. Download the trails before you visit by clicking on the tab below. Either print them out and bring them along or use them on your mobile device as you explore the colour in our collection!

Colour Family Tour
Join our team of Designers on their amazing colour tour of the Museum. Perhaps you'll come up with a new colour name of your own! Download the video tour onto your device simply by scanning a QR code when you arrive at the Museum.

Activity Bags
Due to COVID-19 we can't do all the normal hands-on activities that we enjoy, so instead we have a special August activity bag for you to take home. It has some great activities for you to try at home and you will also find an activity in there from our friends at Kineton STEM.

It would be great to see the results of your activity bags - you could always show us on our Facebook page, using the hashtag #BMMSummer

NOTE: All activities are included in Museum admission. Activities are suitable for 3+ years, unless otherwise specified. Activity bags are subject to availability.
