Classic Motor Show - Federation Village getting ready for business!

We are very excited at the Federation as we prepare our big stand for the Classic Motor Show, which opens to the public in three days time on Friday 10th November.

This afternoon (Tuesday ) FBHVC directors Andy Bye and David Whale hung our huge banners from the ceiling - these are the first things to be erected at a show. As you can imagine, you need specialist equipment and a clear hall to hang banners from the ceiling!

At midnight, show organisers Clarion gain access to the halls, and then our trademark green carpet will be laid in the small hours.

The next step will be the arrival, at 0930 tomorrow (Wednesday) of the magnificent Midland Red Motorway Express coach, kindly loaned by The Transport Museum Wythall.

As it's the biggest exhibit on our stand (and posibly in the entire show) it has to 'go in first', as we build the rest of stand around it.

It's the first of the 10 vehicles to be on show at the Federation Village - all of which are unique to the show!
