Heritage Alliance warns of hacking after email attacked

The Heritage Alliance has issued an urgent alert that the [email protected] email of its Office Manager Katy Haigh was hacked, meaning many of its contacts have received a request from that email for the downloading of a document.

"If you have received this or other recent emails from the [email protected] account, between 7am and 4pm  on Monday 8 September, please delete it, and please do not open or download any attachments or links from the [email protected] email at this time" says The Heritage Alliance.

"We are working with our IT providers to determine the origins of this hack and if any other emails have been affected. Please exercise vigilance at this time."
