Lifting the bonnet on engineering

The Lanchester Archive is staging a display of Coventry Classic Cars - including the Lanchester Archives’ 1932 Lanchester 15/18  - in the city. It is a unique opportunity to meet restoration experts and heritage skills providers.

Saturday 3rd June 2023   11.00am-4.00pm FREE EVENT!

Lanchester Library, Coventry University, Gosford St, Coventry. CV1 5DD.

We will be ‘lifting the bonnet’ on a range of heritage vehicles, engaging with those who’s knowledge and skills have rescued, repaired, and renovated these amazing cars.

Visit a showcase of the amazing work of Coventry university’s automotive, engineering and design courses and a range of other organisations and training providers.

You can learn more and access information about the skills that keep heritage vehicles on the road and enjoyed by us all. Join us for a great day and see the inner workings of these amazing vehicles. Chat to those who know every nut and bolt and see the amazing student work that builds on engineering innovation creating a route for the next generation.
