Message of solidarity to FIVA Federations in regions affected by ongoing conflicts

FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens), the worldwide organisation dedicated to the protection, preservation and promotion of historic vehicles and related culture, as well as their safe use has issued the following message of solidarity to FIVA Federations in regions affected by ongoing conflicts.

Dear FIVA Members and Friends,

As we approach one month since the outbreak of the current conflict in the Middle East, our thoughts remain with all those enduring the consequences of war. These past weeks have brought uncertainty and hardship to many communities across an increasingly wide and affected region.

On behalf of FIVA, I would like to express our sincere solidarity, particularly to our member federations in the Middle East, and more broadly to all federations worldwide that are experiencing, directly or indirectly, the effects of ongoing conflicts.

We are fully aware that many of you are facing extraordinary challenges, both personally and within your organisations. Please know that the entire FIVA family stands beside you during this difficult time.

FIVA has always been more than a federation; it is a global community united not only by a shared passion for historic vehicles, but also by fundamental values such as fraternity, mutual respect, and the willingness to engage in dialogue. These values are at the core of our identity and stand in stark contrast to the realities of conflict we are witnessing today.

In moments like these, it is more important than ever to reaffirm what unites us. Let us continue to nurture trust, solidarity, and hope. The bonds we share and the values that guide our work are stronger than the challenges of the present and will help us rebuild and further strengthen our community when peace returns.
