CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

DELAY TO START OF SEASON

Due to the unprecedented situation brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic and the latest advice from the UK government, regrettably we feel it prudent to postpone our season opening until at least the end of April. We will continue to watch developments closely to ensure that we are following the very latest advice prior to making further decisions.

The delay will include cancellation of the scheduled Easter and special events, normal open days, school visits and private charters along with the miniature railway and casual visits. Bookings for future activity beyond May can still be considered through the normal channels but will remain subject to change pending further Covid-19 developments.

The museum Trustees are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but the health and safety of our visitors and our dedicated team of volunteers remain our number one priority.
