Wigton Motor Club supports National Motor Sport Week.

Wigton Motor Club, as one of the most active motor clubs in the UK, is always keen to attract new blood into the sport.
As part of National Motorsport Week the Club arranged for 15 of their younger members to take part in a Let’s Go Karting session at the Rowrah Kart circuit hosted by Cumbria Kart Racing Club.
The youngsters ranged from 6 to 15 and were equally split between boys and girls. The Club paid for the initial sessions and then several parents or grand parents bought them s second session. Some of the youngsters are already competitors in autotests and targa rallies but for most this was their first time on a kart. They all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope to do it again.
