Free heritage bus trips for 'Oxford Open Doors' weekend

As part of this year’s national Heritage Open Days festival, providing public access to ‘hidden places’ and unique heritage, the Oxford Bus Museum will be giving free heritage bus rides around the City of Oxford on Saturday 13th September as part of the Oxford Open Doors festival, organised by the Oxford Preservation Trust.

Using vehicles from its extensive collection of Oxford-area buses, the buses will run regularly from 10.30am until 3.30pm from Bonn Square.

Most people board its buses there or next to Nuffield College, but the buses will pick up at other points around the city.

Bonn Square, Oxford, will be the museum’s base for the day, where a static heritage bus will also be stationed all day, providing information about the Oxford Bus Museum (which is also open that weekend, Sunday only) and the history of Oxford’s Buses.
