Published: 06/02/2026
Marking the start of its 2026 season, the Dundee Museum of Transport's new exhibition is a colourful celebration of Italian design, engineering and motoring culture, bringing together vehicles that showcase the flair, personality and passion that have made Italy one of the most influential countries in automotive history.
From charming Fiat 500s built for narrow city streets to one of the most legendary rally cars ever produced, the Lancia Stratos, La Dolce Dundee highlights the incredible range of Italian motoring. Each vehicle tells a story of innovation, speed and craftsmanship, blending performance with unmistakable style.
Whether you’re a dedicated motoring enthusiast or simply enjoy great design, the exhibition offers something for everyone. Visitors can explore how Italian vehicles balance everyday practicality with racing pedigree, prestige and personality, celebrating the joy these cars have brought to generations of drivers and fans.
La Dolce Dundee is a lively and visually striking way to begin our 2026 programme, and we’re delighted to welcome visitors to experience a slice of Italian spirit right here in Dundee.
The exhibition is now open and will run until April. Dundee Museum of Transport is open Friday to Monday, 10am - 4.30pm, and La Dolce Dundee is included with standard admission.
